Of all the shark species, I find Hammerhead’s to be the most interesting looking, unique and almost prehistoric.
I first thought about a hammerhead sculpture almost 15yrs ago, and as often happens, once I finally started working on this piece, it evolved & morphed into something beyond my initial idea. I noticed that as I tightened the curve and carried this design down through the swirled base, it enhanced the spiraling motion and created an interesting continuous line.
